Geek of Oz

Stu and I take over this week's episode for another one of our cinematic adventure reviews. This time we watch the latest Fox Studios Marvel Film, Deadpool! We're gonna be honest with you (as the Geek of Oz crew is on all things) we loved the film. So have a listen to us discuss how much we loved and laughed at the film. We try to not delve into spoilers too much in this episode, and we also discuss some of the origins of Deadpool from the various Marvel comic books he has featured in. Comedians Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn are no strangers to the world of comic books. Not only did they grow up reading Marvel comics, but they both worked on Last Christmas from Image Comics and are currently the writers of Marvel's Deadpool relaunch. Lucky for us they spared time from their very busy schedules to have a chat about Deadpool and the upcoming "I, Scream" arc. Follow on after the jump to have a listen! The good folks at Marvel have supplied us with a sneak peek at Deadpool #28  from writer Daniel Way and artist Carlo Barberi. Deadpool has been recruited into the Secret Avengers by none other than Captain Steve Rogers himself. Problem being, the merc with a mouth has always struggled with the covert side of things.
