Season three finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death. Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), our trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together. Curtain’s up! Season 3 hits Disney+ on August 8th   

Billy and Christof are back! In this episode they cover Ant-Man & The Wasp, while getting freaked out by an actual, real life wasp that had flown into the recording studio! Also they spend a good 10 minutes up-top talking about Big Dick Energy because y’know, priorities. Topics include: Sweet Zaddy Rudd, the increase of better MCU Villains, is this the funniest film int he MCU?, and of course Big Dick Energy in the MCU. NEWSTEAM ASSEEEEEMMBLE!! After a few years in the wilderness, Ron Burgundy and the Action News Team are back for their long-awaited sequel to Anchorman (2004). I must declare something, upon first viewing I wasn’t particularly impressed by the first Anchorman. Frankly I just didn’t really get it, the silliness and disjointed dialogue kind of threw me for a loop. But on subsequent viewings it blossomed into one of my favourite comedies. I’m hoping that this is also the case with Anchorman 2 because currently I’m a little underwhelmed by it.

First let me stress that every single film that I see which stars Paul Rudd I am accompanied by a wife who considers Rudd to be husband #2. I get that. He's utterly charming, hilarious and quite handsome to boot. That said, I am in no way swayed in my opinions due to apparently sharing a wife with Paul Rudd. My opinions are my own. This is 40 is very much a sequel to Judd Apatow's earlier box office success, Knocked Up. However, instead of following the exploits of Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl (undoubtedly due to Heigl's now infamous claims of sexism from Apatow), the film follows Pete (Rudd) and Debbie (Mann) and their two daughters who are both played by Apatow and Mann's real-life kids. Pete and Debbie's lives are in a rut. He has a struggling business and mounting debt while she struggles with deep seeded insecurities from childhood trauma but in classic Apatow fashion, hilarity ensues.
