Anime News - Xam'd: Lost Memories (亡念のザムド)

The good folks at Madman are releasing the first 13 episodes of Xam'd: Lost Memories (亡念のザムド) on Blu Ray and DVD on the 16th of February 2010. Produced by Bones, Sony Computer Entertainment and Aniplex Xam'd was first released in 2008 on the PlayStation Network (PSN) as a downloadable series.




Xam'd was directed by Masayuki Miyaji, assistant director of Spirited Away and conceptualised by Studio Bones of Eureka Seven and RahXephon fame. It tells the story of a young chap, resident of an island which becomes the victim of a terrorist attack. In an act of self preservation he transforms into a super powerful mecha.
