Webcomics - Free Love and Entertainment

Here you'll find links to the best webcomics on the... uh... web

Everybody knows that the internet is chock full of incredibly talented and creative people but some people may not be aware that these people share their work with the world with absolutely nothing asked in return.

I'm talking about the creators of web comics. There is a multitude of incredibly talented webcomic creators out their who create and share their creations with us, generally on a weekly basis.

You could be forgiven for thinking "if they're free they mustn't be very good". You could be forgiven, but you'd be wrong. Some of these comics have incredible art and fantastic stories and a handful of them are even created by fan-favourite professional comic book creators!

What you'll find below is a selection of my favourite webcomics and where you'll find them. This is an ongoing mission as different comics stop, start, or new ones start up and blow my teensie little mind! So check back every now and then why don'tcha!

Gronk is the story of one of the cutest monsters in the universe. Written and illustrated by Katie Cook who can be found HERE, Gronk is one of the sweetest most heart warming indulgences of my week. It is such great quality and not just visually! This comic has bags and bags of heart. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of Katie's GRONK collection, fingers crossed it's not just a con special.

Lackadaisy Cats by Tracy J. Butler has amazing art, a great story and cats hanging out in speakeasies in their flappers and slacks. What more could you ask for?

Karl Kerschl is an insanely talented writer/illustrator. Do me, Mr Kerschl and yourself a favour and check this out! Start from part one and work your way through. As soon as he starts releasing his sketch copies of the collected edition I'll be there! Have a look at the rest of Mr Kerschl's work including his Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers, Marvel Adventures Spider-Man and Teen Titans covers here!

Written and illustrated by David Reddick, author of a personal favourite webcomic of mine The Trek Life, graces us with the very funny Legend of Bill. The story of a wise cracking, self important try-hard barbarian named Bill and his pal Frank, a blue dragon. This strip commonly features guest artists adding a little extra spice to this cracking read!

This webcomic is seriously impressive for a bunch of reasons. First of all it's a good, fun sci fi adventure comic with some really good art but aside from that they manage to put out a page EVERY SINGLE WEEKDAY and release even more special material on the weekends and all for free!

As I said, this list is most definitely a work in progress. I'm sure that this is just the tip of the iceberg and I'm always looking for even more good stuff so if you come across any, please let me know!
