Anime News - Mirai Suenaga gets a Nendoroid

Danny Choo is a little bit of a hero of mine. He is much like myself, a massive anime and manga geek who is desperately in love with all things Japanese. The difference between us is that Mr Choo busted his butt and eventually became the man that he is today, a cultural advisor to the Japanese government, pop culture companies and a celebrity in his own right.

Well, his very own creation and Culture Japan mascot and Mirai Millenium main character, Mirai Suenaga, is getting the Nendoroid treatment and we have all of the details on what you can look forward to and where to get it.
Mirai will be getting an official Good Smile Company Nendoroid release complete with a handful of accessories and items that Culture Japan fans will be well acquainted with.

For starters, Mirai will get her very own itasha - a vehicle which is emblazoned with images of Mirai and Culture Japan. Then she gets her own set of Moekana cards which makes me think that Mirai may not be Japanese after all! Next she gets the company of her pal and robotic sidekick, Retrokyu, and finally she gets a change of hairstyle and changeable faces to match her moekana aesthetic as designed by Ikkyuu-sensei and the more traditional Mirai as designed by Tasuku Iizuki.

Mirai Suenaga Nendoroid can be pre-ordered for 4000 yen ($50AUD) from Amazon JapanHobby StockAmiAmiHobby SearchJList and Otacute with an expected release in December 2012.
