Movie Review - Nitro Circus 3D

In 20 years or so, "extreme" sports have gone from being entertainment for the teen fringe of society to a multi billion dollar industry where sponsorship dominates, proving that it has finally hit the mainstream. Welcome to Nitro Circus 3D. Nitro Circus, lead by the charismatic man-child Travis Pastrana, are a rag tag team of adrenalin junkies who appear to live for the moment, putting their life on the line for the thrill of it and your entertainment. In the beginning, there were the Crusty Demons of Dirt, a bunch of freestyle motocross riders who almost began as outlaws, the bad boys of the sport and the trailblazers of the FMX scene. Soon after came the X-Games which reigned in these bad boys and gave them an international stage on which to impress. So soon after, when the extreme had become profitable, MTV's Jackass took it to another level and showed that people are willing to pay good money to see other people do stupid things, stupid things that get them hurt...

It's okay to be excited for Dredd because quite frankly, so are we. After enjoying the absolutely terrible Stallone incarnation, how could we not enjoy Urban rocking the helm? Movie News - Cameron and Scorcese talk Hugo

James Cameron and Martin Scorcese, two of the biggest names in modern cinema, talk about the upcoming 3D film Hugo which is Produced and Directed by Scorcese himself. Due for release in Australia on the 12th of January 2012, Hugo has already wowed fans overseas with an average 96% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.com and 8.6/10 on IMDB.com. Furthermore, Scorcese was named Director of the Year and Hugo the Film of the Year by New York's National Board of Review. "Hugo tells the story of an orphan boy living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. With the help of an eccentric girl, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking the father he recently lost, the ill-tempered toy shop owner living below him and a heart shaped lock, seemingly without a key." Movie News - Tangled Trailer

The good folks at Walt Disney Pictures have supplied us with a look at their upcoming 3D CGI feature Tangled, which is due to be released here in Oz on January the 6th 2010. This movie really looks the goods and there's no doubt that judging by Toy Story 3, Disney Digital 3D have really nailed the 3D treatment. I'm a massive Disney fan and needless to say, I'm really looking forward to this one.
