From New Line Cinema comes the explosive new cinematic adventure Mortal Kombat , inspired by the blockbuster video game franchise, which most recently enjoyed the most successful video game launch in its history, Mortal Kombat 11 .  The film is helmed by award-winning Australian commercial filmmaker Simon McQuoid, marking his feature directorial debut, and produced by James Wan ( The Conjuring, Aquaman ), Todd Garner ( Into the Storm, Tag ), McQuoid and E. In all the hype over the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, it seems as though the uproar over Mortal Kombat's failure to launch was all but forgotten.  Thankfully, the good folks at Warner's never forget and have battled on to get the game released here in Oz. On the same day that Tom Taylor's first issue of the comic book tie-in is release, we can confirm the release date of Netherealm's latest foray into the world of spine punching madness, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Also confirmed were the collectors edition bundles that will grace the shelves of JB Hi-Fi and EB Games stores here in Australia.

Warners have made some massive headway in terms of furthering the DC brand both on the screen and in terms of video games. Not only has ARROW premiered to become one of the highest rating shows on CW but news at hand states that Warner's have managed to secure the rights to use the Man of Steel in a rumoured Justice League film! So, without further ado, we present you with a behind the scenes look at the upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us , a fighting game like no other from the people behind the absolute classic, Mortal Kombat.

News recently broke that the first episode of Arrow, a brand new series featuring DC's Green Arrow, has pulled in the highest ratings on The CW in 3 years.  In a stroke of good luck and timing, Warner Bros Interactive have announced that everybody's favourite archer (Marvel fans excluded), will e a playable character in the upcoming and much anticipated InjusticeL Gods Among Us from the makers of Mortal Kombat. Just when you thought that you couldn't be any more jealous of those lucky folks at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment release some all new screen shots and revealed another 2 playable characters, Nightwing and Cyborg. Just to poke the green eyed monster even further, fans at SDCC even get the chance to play the game at the DC Entertainment booth! (jealousy RISIIINNNG!)
